Marshmallow Stew
The Christmas Trail is an annual outdoor pageant presented by members of Littlejohn United Methodist Church in Lenoir, North Carolina. The Biblical account of the birth of Christ is presented in various scenes along a trail through Lelia Tuttle Memorial Park
At the end of the trail the visitors are invited to enjoy hot chocolate as they warm by a bonfire. One year a misunderstanding between two girls and the greeter caused quite a giggling stir
Illustrated by artist Cheyenne Kimberlin, the story comes alive in comic book format. There are shepherds, kings, and of course, Mary and Joseph.
During the entire trail the two girls anticipate hot chocolate and marshmallow stew. The surprise ending will make this book a treasure to be enjoyed with family during the Christmas season
